Eyebright is a tonic, astringent and anti-inflammatory herb. It has been traditionally used for the eyes and related conditions. Eyebright may assist with healing conjunctivitis, inflammation, styes, itchy or stinging eyes. For the respiratory tract, it may assist hay fever, colds, sinusitis and excess mucous. Eyebright has a bitter taste.
