GIVING BACK - The Nourished Pantry donates monthly to Takis Shelter. Sadly not all dogs and cats have homes where they are loved and cared for. Set up over 10 years ago, and with the sole purpose of rescuing the stray, abandoned animals of Crete, Takis Shelter currently cares for over 600 dogs and 100 cats.

This shelter receives no help from the authorities and relies solely on donations. Since 2014, Takis Shelter has re-homed over 3000 animals.
